The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine has developed two integrated training programmes to address the specific training requirements of Principal Investigators (PIs) and all scientists and supporting staff involved in Phase I studies / exploratory development of investigational medicinal products (IMPs).
The DHP is a 2-year programme of structured training for doctors intending to serve as Principal Investigators.
The CHP is a 1-year part-time training programme for doctors and scientists wishing to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of exploratory studies of IMPs in man.
The first courses ran in December 2008 and April 2009. The next course is scheduled for December 2009.
