This £91million initiative aims to develop drug-like, small molecules that will be the springboard for further research and development in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry in areas of unmet medical need. The awards help applicants with a potential drug target or new chemistry to embark on compound discovery and/or lead optimisation.
