Translation Awards are response-mode funding designed to bridge the funding gap in the commercialisation of new technologies in the biomedical arena.
These awards are available for applied R&D projects that address an unmet need in healthcare, offer a potential new solution and have realistic expectation that the innovation will be developed further by the market. The spectrum of technologies funded includes: diagnostics, enabling technology, regenerative medicine, therapeutic vaccines and medical devices.
