Completing the family of research Tool Kits, the Experimental Medicine toolkit expands on the good practice outlined in the Academy of Medical Sciences report, Microbial challenge studies of human volunteers, and promotes a risk-based approach to study management. It is a starting point for all small scale, interventional studies, and directs users to other Tool Kits where appropriate.
