Welcome

The Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility, Manchester was established in 2001.  We support inpatient and outpatient clinical research studies from a wide range of disciplines, led by investigators in both adult and paediatric specialities.

We provide a comprehensive research environment, including a highly-skilled clinical research workforce, which supports investigators to conduct  studies in a timely and safe manner.

Our facilities are well equipped, modern and provide a comfortable environment. Our state of the art technologies enable everyone involved; patients, volunteers and researchers, to gain maximum benefit from the research projects we host. 

In 2010 our specialist Paediatric facility was opened. Embedded in Manchester Royal Children's Hospital, the research facility provides a professional environment for Researchers to work away from the pressures of routine clinics.
