The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) aims to develop novel treatments across the range of adult cancers and identify which patients are most likely to benefit from particular therapies. Areas of expertise include molecular pharmacodynamics, diagnostics (including DNA sequencing) and imaging (MRI and PET). Like other Centres the ICR works with other ECMCs to conduct early phase clinical trials.
