The Hull york Medical School Experimental Medicine Unit (HYMS EMU) is operated by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Hull York Medical School NHS partner. It is funded by the National Institute for Health Research as a Clinical Research Facility (CRF).

Opened in 2009 HYMS EMU provides facilities for researchers with the support of an experienced team of research nurses.

It is dedicated to early phase clinical and translational research that will deliver maximum patient benefit across a wide range of diseases and conditions
