Welcome

We are a specialist children's research unit, the first in the North West and one of only a small number across the UK. We opened in November 2009 and are based in the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Our first year has been phenominally successful with many more studies running through the facility than we originally anticipated.

Our specialist facilities, embedded in Manchester Royal Children's Hospital, give researchers access to specialist facilites and nursing staff away from the pressures of the regular hospital environment.
