The Cardiff Clinical Research Facility is a component of a successful Wellcome/Joint Infrastructure Fund bid, and was formally opened by The First Minister for Wales, Rhodri Morgan, on Wednesday 14th March 2007.

The CRF provides a high quality clinical environment in which patients can undergo research programmes safely and effectively according to scientifically robust, ethically approved studies, including both clinical trials and other forms of clinical investigation.
